The founders
Chartered Quantity Surveyors
Founded in London by Chartered Quantity Surveyors who have just been through the APC themselves. The frameworks in this platform (STARA, SCORE, the 7-Day Sprint) started life as the systems the founders built to get through their own APC while working full-time.
The APC has a strange property: the profession’s most important qualification comes with the profession’s least usable instructions. The requirements are published, technically. But candidates still spend their first year asking the same questions. What counts as evidence? What does Level 3 actually look like? Is my counsellor supposed to be doing something?
Most prep support answers those questions by the hour, at around £140 a time, if you know what to ask. The guidance industry sells information; what candidates are missing is structure: a route, a weekly rhythm, evidence that builds itself, and rehearsal before the room.
So we’re building the preparation platform we needed: one curriculum for the QS pathway, cohorts synced to the May and November sittings, readiness you can measure, and a straight-talking culture about what the assessment actually rewards.
The goal is simple: make APC Ready the recognised home of QS APC preparation, and to make “I’m doing it with APC Ready” mean you know exactly where you stand.

We teach from the published requirements and always point you to the current RICS candidate guide as the source of truth. Our value is structure, feedback and rehearsal, based entirely on the published rules.
